About the role

As a Senior Account Executive at UrbanPiper, you will drive UrbanPiper’s future growth engine by building relationships with the largest prospective clients in your market and turning them into happy users. You’ll manage inbound & outbound opportunities (as the first point of contact for many new and growing Restaurant businesses interested in UrbanPiper) and handle the full sales cycle right through to onboarding for our enterprise and large mid-market customers. 


What you’ll do

  1. Own a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with the country’s largest prospects / existing customers 

  2. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities

  3. Identify high-potential prospective users through prospecting as well as through inbound opportunities

  4. Own the full sales cycle from prospect to close for small/medium businesses & mid-market prospects 

  5. Manage complex sales cycles and contract negotiations with decision-makers and key C-level executives

  6. Perform discovery calls, web demonstrations and customer meetings, as well as the preparation of customer-specific product presentations and workshops.

  7. Work closely with internal teams from marketing to finance, integration engineering and customer success to ensure our customers are delighted through every step of the sales process 

  8. Manage and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process

Who you are

You are an experienced account executive capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization. You have a strong comprehension of the buyer journey and can manage complex multi-party sales in a highly consultative manner. You are used to building value in demanding situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product comprehension, combined with technical knowledge. 

Job requirements

  • 5+ years experience of sales or prospecting experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance

  • 2+ years of enterprise sales experience

  • At least 2 years year full cycle, closing experience in B2B SaaS 

  • Ability to grasp complex requirements and craft custom solutions

  • Strong inquisitive and quantitative capabilities 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

  • A strong interest in the restaurant / food-tech industry

  • Fluent in English

Preferred qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working in the Food-tech / Restaurant industry

  • Experience using HubSpot / Salesforce or other sales CRM systems
