The Inside Sales team at UrbanPiper does the heavy lifting of qualifying all the leads generated through our Marketing campaigns. Leads generated through Marketing usually have a high intent of adopting our product and this team makes sure that this intent is captured, the expectations are gathered and the correct context is delivered to the prospect.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at UrbanPiper, you will drive UrbanPiper’s future growth engine by working with Demand Gen and the Account Executive team to qualify leads and collaboratively build UrbanPiper’s sales pipeline. You should be excited about engaging with prospects to better qualify needs. You are adept at identifying high value opportunities and capable of managing early sales funnel activities.

Follow up with Marketing generated leads to qualify as sales opportunities. Move solid leads through the funnel connecting them to a salesperson, and arrange meetings for the team.
Develop and lead campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified calls and determine how best to scale them
Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from Marketing
Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability to prepare hand-off to account executive team
Follow-up with potential customers who expressed interest via marketing channels but did not initially result in a sales opportunity.
Effectively work through lead list meeting/exceeding SLAs, consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system and support weekly reporting efforts
Collaborate and provide feedback and insights occasionally to Marketing to help improve targeting and messaging
We are looking for someone who has/is:
1+ years of sales experience in selling technology enabled solutions
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong interest in technology
Self starter who is able to operate in a hyper growth environment
Has worked with Marketing CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce and understands well how to manage their day-to-day work on them.
Experience or a good understanding of the online food delivery ecosystem.
Adept at managing his/her conversations over video conferencing tools or phone, and noting down the results of each conversation diligently.
